Dancing Pines Bourbon

Never a big fan of bourbon, I thought I’d give the Loveland, Colorado, distillery a shot. I’ve tried their other Chai and Brulee liqueurs in the past and enjoyed them in martinis, so I figured I’d step out of my norm and try America’s take on whiskey. A very spicy smell which translated into the first bite in the mouth, Dancing Pines continued its trend of uniquely spiced drinks. The wood and sweet flavors come out as water is added. Even as a non bourbon drinker, I enjoyed this whole bottle.
